Out with the Old, In with the Organized: A Spring Entryway Refresh

Spring is here, and with that comes that undeniable urge to refresh, declutter, and breathe new life into our homes. If you’ve been dreaming of a seasonal reset, let this gorgeous entryway, designed by Krystal Reinhard of Old Soul Design serve as your inspiration to refresh your space or find a designer to help you with doing so!

This home’s original entryway just wasn’t cutting it for its busy owners—two professionals with two energetic young boys. Shoes piled up, jackets had no real home, and the space felt more like an afterthought than an inviting welcome. By relocating the laundry to the second floor, Krystal opened up new possibilities.

Of course, Spring is all about fresh energy, so instead of sticking to safe neutrals, Krystal embraced a deep, saturated blue for the walls, trim, and built-ins. The nature-inspired wallpaper adds personality, bringing a bit of the outdoors in! In a high-traffic area like an entryway, beauty only goes so far without durability. Soft gray hexagon tiles provide a timeless foundation that’s both stylish and easy to maintain.

This entryway is a perfect reminder of how impactful a well-designed  space can be. Whether it’s organizing, adding a pop of color, or embracing playful patterns, small changes can completely transform the way a space (and your family) feels.

Feeling inspired? Let this entryway be your motivation to refresh your own home and welcome spring in style!
