Julie Anne Baur

Julie Anne Baur is the founder and Principal Designer of Winding Lane Interiors based in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She specializes in creating fresh traditional and transitional interiors enhanced with beautiful antiques or beloved family heirlooms to add character and classic style. Julie Anne loves working with clients who are excited about the design process but want to rely on a designer to handle the hundreds of details needed to lead a project smoothly from start to finish.  She also offers 2-Hour design consultations for clients who need guidance and a "road map" but want to take on the furnishing themselves. Julie Anne also loves to design vacation homes for her clients and has designed several in Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas.  She can do this both in-person and remotely, and her team keeps things running smoothly while she is on-site.  

Julie Anne grew up in South Florida and graduated from Vanderbilt University where she met her husband Jeff who grew up in Cincinnati. After college, she moved to Cincinnati, earned a Masters Degree from Xavier University, and studied Interior Design at The Art Institute of Ohio. After taking a few years off to have her three sons (who are now in high school and college), Julie Anne gained valuable experience working as a designer in a European antiques & home furnishings shop. In 2014, Julie Anne founded Winding Lane Interiors to bring her love of classic, comfortable, colorful designs to her clients.

Having lived in Hyde Park for over 20 years, Julie Anne and her team recently moved their design studio from Oakley Square to their new Hyde Park location just a few blocks from her home. Winding Lane’s beautiful studio is located at 3275 Erie Avenue Suite A (with the bright pink door).
